Painting with encaustic gives me a wide range of techniques to develop formal structures. In doing so, I interpret stories based on memory, psychological, philosophical and spiritual concepts.

A Greek word that means “to burn in,” the encaustic technique comprises of beeswax, damar and color. My primary focus is on making monotypes and painting directly onto a surface.

I invite you into my world. As with all art, it is my belief that you’ll bring your own personal experience to the work.
