Many of these paintings are about a particular place…where I’ve lived, places I’ve visited or other significant landscapes that have inspired me. They are reflections of the feelings and perceptions I experienced about those places– the light, the air, the land formations. Then again, I paint stylized portraiture of people I know and love.
